中国农业大学农业生物技术国家重点实验室教授,博士生导师。1996年在内蒙古大学获得理学硕士学位,2005年中国农业大学获得博士学位。2009-2010在美国爱荷华州立大学访问学者一年。主要研究领域是豆科功能基因组研究和分子设计育种,研究团队搭建了完整的豆科植物基因组学、蛋白组学、功能基因组研究、TALEN和CRISPR-cas9突变体研究、分子设计育种技术平台。建立了苜蓿非生物胁迫转录组数据库、建立了完整的基因组数据平台。研究团队挖掘了一批关键基因并深入研究了其调控机制,解析了苜蓿抵抗非生物胁迫的调控网络;首次揭示了质膜定位的转录因子在干旱胁迫下进入细胞核的分子机制。发现了多个参与结瘤固氮的新基因,揭示了DMI2-PUB2通过磷酸化和泛素化负反馈环调控苜蓿结瘤内稳态的分子机制。研究组搭建了同时实现多个目标基因的过表达、干扰、标记基因删除的多基因转化技术平台,并利用这些平台实现了8个外源基因的共表达;培育了高异黄酮和单宁苜蓿、高纤维素低木质素苜蓿、高含硫氨基酸苜蓿新材料;培育了优质抗逆的水稻、棉花新材料和新种质。相关研究成果在全国居于领先水平。在The plant Cell, plant physiology,New Phytologist,Plant biotechnology journal,Plant cell and environment, Journal of Viology,等期刊发表学术论文20多篇。授权发明专利14项。
